剧情简介
影片《5颗子弹.....》（又名：《仁枪》）根据获鲁迅文学奖的报告文学《生死一线》改编，以真实的事件为背景，艺术地再现了中国内地某监狱在被特大洪水淹没的极其困难情况下转移一万多名服刑人犯，无一逃跑无一死亡，在国际上产生轰动影响的故事。
本片着重讲述了在监狱人员转移途中，三个失散的犯人与一个警察的生死抉择。退休的狱警老马在特大洪水袭来之际临危受命，负责押解三名不服调命的人犯转移。而三名人犯一个是被判死刑的杀人犯，一个是在外面隐匿了巨额资产的贪污犯，还有一个是即将刑满释放的惯偷。途中，他们遭遇了山体滑坡、特大洪水与毒蛇袭击等自然灾害和人为波折，陷入了死亡的绝境之中。
四个人不同的命运不同的人格共同面对生与死，人性中的善与恶产生了强烈的碰撞。他们时而彼此依存、互相关爱，齐心合力地和死亡搏斗；时而私欲膨胀，相互倾扎，冷酷残忍地和老狱警抗争试图逃跑。执意要给自己的警察生涯画上一个圆满句号的狱警老马崇尚“不战而屈人之兵”的仁枪境界。警察和人犯之间不可调和的矛盾在洪水的灾难中表现的尤为激烈。一路上，所有的关注都集中在老狱警枪里的五颗子弹，每一颗子弹都形成一个悬疑。这五颗子弹究竟射向了谁？当老狱警枪里还有最后一颗子弹陷入昏迷时，三个时刻想逃跑的犯人和老狱警在绝境中用心智和意志展开了惊心动魄的较量……
Synopsis
The film Gun of Mercy is adapted from Life and Death, a reportage which has won the award for Luxun Literature Prize. Based on a real event, this film artistically reproduces such a story: a certain prison in Chinese mainland dislocates over ten thousand prisoners serving sentences under an extreme situation of being threatened by a catastrophic flood without any case of escape or death and thus this event has caused a tremendous stirring influence globely.
The film highlights the life-and-death choice of three scattered prisoners and one policeman during the course of dislocation. The retired prison guard Lao Ma takes up a mission of escorting three disobedient prisoners for dislocation on the eve of attack from a catastrophic flood. Among the three prisoners, one is a murderer sentenced to death penalty; one is an embezzler with huge sum of assets sheltered outside; and still another is a hardened thief to be released soon upon completion of his sentence. On their way, they plunge into the extremity of death when confronted with natural disasters such as hill slide, flood and viper attack as well as man-made twists.
When these four persons with different fates and personalities bind their lives together in face of life-and-death situation, the goodness and the evilness in their human nature clash profoundly. Sometimes they rely on and care for one another and fight against death of one mind; sometimes they reveal their selfish desires and plot against one another and even attempt to escape by cruelly opposing the prison guard. Lao Ma, the prison guard, who is determined to conclude his career as a policeman in a satisfactory manner, advocates gun of mercy by “subduing the enemy without fighting”. The unavoidable conflict between the policeman and the prisoners exhibits more vehemently in face of the disastrous flood. Along the way all concern is focused on the five bullets in the prison guard’s gun and each bullet brings about suspense. Who on earth do the five bullets target at? When the prison guard is in coma with only one bullet left in his gun, the prisoners who wish to escape every minute and the guard have heart-stirring contests of mind and will in the impasse…
